My name is Jon Haag and I’ve been working at The Derrick/The News-Herald since February. I attended Edinboro University and graduated with a degree in journalism in 2015.
I enjoy writing anything from city official meetings and politics to culturally charged local events and the occasional profile feature. Growing up in Stoneboro, I’ve taken an interest in learning more about my hometown and writing about the area whenever I get the chance.
I enjoy contributing to an already solid team here at the newspaper, and the staff has helped me along in my transition from school to full-time reporter.
