Job interview workshop slated Oct. 18 in Oil City

From staff reports

A free workshop will be offered later this month for people looking to polish up their job interview skills.

Well Spring, a non-profit group, will sponsor the workshop, which is scheduled for 5 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 18, at the National Transit Building in downtown Oil City.

“The workshop will help attendees increase their understanding of the interview process and answer some of the most common and challenging interview questions,” said Lisa Swartz, the event organizer.

“The goal is to make potential job applicants as comfortable and prepared as possible,” she said.

Trenton Moulin, executive director of Bridge Builders Community Foundations, will facilitate the workshop. He has years of administrative and managerial experience, including serving as a recruiting manager for Robert Half International, where he reviewed thousands of resumes and interviewed hundreds of candidates.

The workshop is part of a series of seminars offered by Well Spring, which is a division of Hope 21 Ministry, an organization affiliated with the Free Methodist Church of Oil City.

While the seminars are free, seating is limited. People wishing to register for the seminar may send an email to info@hope21ministry.org.
