Hovis trail ride, evening luau on tap Saturday at Two Mile

Two Mile Run County Park is hosting two outdoor events on Saturday. In the morning and afternoon, the Dan Hovis Memorial Trail Ride will take place, offering a 10-mile ride for horse riders, followed by a dinner, with proceeds benefiting the park’s trail committee. The event honors Dan Hovis, a long-time trail volunteer, and includes a raffle and auction. In the evening, a free luau will be held at Crosby Beach with music, a hula hoop competition, a movie screening, food trucks, and a bonfire. The beach will remain open for swimming until August 25 and will reopen briefly for Labor Day weekend.
