Venango County will sponsor a collection event for both household hazardous waste and electronics from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 26, in the rear parking lot of the Cranberry Mall.
People who plan to take items to the collection event must preregister by contacting the collection vendor, Environmental Coordination and Services. Preregistration is available by calling (866) 815-0016 or going online to ECSR.net.
There is a minimal cost associated with proper disposal of these materials. The fees are as follows:
– 45 cents per pound for televisions and monitors
– 52 cents per pound for small freon-containing devices
This event is open to Venango County residents and businesses. Due to COVID-19, attendees are instructed to follow state protocols while attending this event.
