Marsh Home Center, a new furniture and appliance store in Titusville, officially opened its doors Monday.
Calvin A. Marsh and his son, Calvin C. Marsh, opened up the 305 E. Spring St. store in the same location where his previous business operated for 27 years. After closing his hardware and building supply store in 2012, Marsh went on to work at Day’s Home Furnishing in Titusville.
Since Day’s Home Furnishing closed in June, Marsh said he hopes to pick up where the old store left off.
“I hope people can visit us, but I hope they are patient. Because, due to the virus we don’t have our entire staff with us,” Calvin A. Marsh said.
Marsh said that because of the virus, opening his store has come with many setbacks as it was difficult to get some of the appliances and furniture he has for sale.
“We should have been open about a month ago,” Marsh said. “Here I thought everything that I learned the past five years would help, but all that has went out the window.”
