Renowned ceramic artist Ido Ferber is joining Grove City’s Community Art Class through April 11, thanks to the Grove City Community Foundation’s Jane Capron Promotion of the Arts Fund. Ferber will lead hands-on, project-based learning, working with students and community members to create public art. With a background in blacksmithing, woodworking, and industrial design, he will share his expertise through workshops and lectures, culminating in a one-night exhibition on April 10 at Grove City College’s Pew Fine Arts Gallery. The collaboration extends to workshops at HopeCAT, Grove City College, and Slippery Rock University, aiming to foster cultural exchange, art-making, and event planning skills.
