The Friends of the Oil City Library will hold a Groundhog Day fundraiser on Friday, Feb. 3.
Baked goods will be sold at the library from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Friends of the Library’s purpose is to support the library with volunteer and financial help. The bake sale, along with raffles and weekly used book sales, help provide finances for library operations.
In recent months, the Friends group has raised money for a new outdoor sign at the library, newly painted front steps, Adopt-a-Magazine and the summer reading program.
