Unlike last weekend, the weather cooperated and kids and their families turned out en masse for Franklin’s annual Easter egg hunt in Fountain Park on Friday evening.
The hunt and a photo-op with chicks and bunnies were rescheduled from April 9 because of wet conditions.
Wide-eyed children appeared to be making up for lost time on Friday, as they scurried about looking for eggs and had photos taken with the chicks and bunnies before the hunt began.
