A Franklin woman was taken into custody Thursday after she was allegedly involved in a physical altercation.
Franklin police said officers were dispatched to the 700 block of 13th Street just before 10 p.m. after receiving a report of a domestic dispute with the suspect possibly in possession of a knife.
After arriving at the scene, police learned that there was a knife involved and the altercation stemmed from an argument between two females at the residence.
Briana Henriques, 23, was arrested and taken to the Franklin Police Department for processing and arraignment.
