Winners at Saturday’s Libertyfest parade in Franklin have been announced. They are:
First, Valley Grove Education Association; second, Venango’s Edge 4-H club; third, Leap of Faith Gymnastics; fourth, Atlantic Avenue Church; fifth, United Military Support; sixth, Barrow-Civic Theatre; seventh, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints; and eighth, Venango School of Kung Fu and Tai Chi.
Activities continue downtown today with a performance by Kevin Downey and Brianna Erdman at 7 p.m. in Bandstand Park.
Junction PA will perform at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday at Bandstand Park.
Thunder Over Franklin, the city’s fireworks event, will start at dusk Wednesday from Franklin’s Riverfront Park.
Nightlife will perform at 7 p.m. Thursday at Bandstand Park.
