Erie PBS station WQLN will feature Franklin as part of its “Our Town” series on Thursday.
“Our Town: Stories from Franklin,” a video scrapbook of the people, places and happenings of the Victorian city, will air at 8 p.m. Thursday on WQLN TV 54. Live streaming will be available at WQLN.org.
Stories include events like Applefest and Light Up Night, the Silver Cornet Band, DeBence Antique Music World and historical markers found throughout town.
The Franklin show is the 11th installment in WQLN’s Our Town series. Towns previously featured are Oil City, Titusville, Meadville, Corry, North East and Edinboro, Pennsylvania; Conneaut, Ohio; London, Ontario; and Mayville and Westfield, New York.
