Franklin city workers will start to pick up biodegradable leaf bags on Monday.
Residents may put their filled leaf bags along their front yards near the street for pick-up by the city’s street division.
Bag leaf pickup will be every Monday and Friday through the leaf season.
City crews will only pick up paper biodegradable bags that can be purchased at many local stores. The bags will not be available at City Hall.
The vacuum machine leaf pickup project will begin later in October.
