Pickup of leaves will continue next week in Franklin, weather permitting.
The schedule calls for the leaves to be picked up Monday through Thursday on the Gurney Road side of Franklin.
Leftover piles of leaves in the First Ward and Second Ward will be collected the week of Dec. 16.
Residents are asked to rake leaves to the edge of their front lawns, not on the street, for pickup.
Mechanical breakdowns or inclement weather could cause some delays or rescheduling.
The city will also pick up paper biodegradable bags of leaves (no plastic bags) on Monday and Friday.

Residents are reminded to observe the temporary “No Parking” signs to avoid receiving a ticket.
