Franklin Floral Designs and More, owned by Lindsey Dechant, recently opened at 309 13th St. in Franklin, offering floral arrangements, tuxedo rentals, and a gift shop. Dechant, inspired by a friend’s encouragement, took over the space after a previous florist closed. She plans to expand services, including wedding supply rentals and event bouquets. A stay-at-home mom turned entrepreneur, Dechant credits community support, the local chamber, and a business class for aiding her transition into business ownership.
