Franklin Easter egg hunt is Saturday

Franklin’s annual Easter egg hunt will take place Saturday at 11 a.m. in Fountain Park for children ages 8 and under, featuring prize-filled eggs, including candy, money, gift cards, and chances to win themed baskets. The hunt is organized by age groups in different park quadrants, and the Easter Bunny will make a grand entrance on a city fire truck around 10:30 a.m. Sponsored by various local organizations and businesses, the event is expected to proceed despite chilly weather, with Monday at 6 p.m. set as the rain date. Additional Easter-themed activities will also be happening around town.
