The City of Franklin street department will sweep streets next week in the following areas:
Monday – Third shift: Business district and Professional Building; First shift: Gurney Road side of Franklin Heights.
Tuesday – Third shift: Miller Park area; First shift: Gurney Road side of Franklin Heights.
Thursday – Third shift: Odd side of Liberty Street and 11th to 1st Street; First shift: Greentree side of Franklin Heights.
Friday – Third shift: Even side of Liberty Street and 1st to 11th Street; First shift: Greentree side of Franklin Heights
Sweeper breakdowns or inclement weather may cause delays or rescheduling.
Residents may sweep anti-skid material into piles in front of their property for pickup by city workers. They can call the city maintenance center from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday through Friday at 437-1600 to give locations of the piles.
