The City of Franklin street department will be street sweeping next week in the following areas:
Monday – Third Shift: both sides of Center Street, Pine Street, Norman Street and Missouri Street and the even side of Erie Street; First Shift: Washington Crossing area.
Tuesday – Third Shift: both sides of Elm Street, 11th Street, Pearl Street, Sassafras Street and Myrtle Street and the odd side of Erie Street; First Shift: Washington Crossing area.
Wednesday – First Shift: 15th Street and 15th Street Hill.
Thursday – First Shift: 15th Street and 15th Street Hill.
Residents may see temporary No Parking signs along some streets with times and days the street will be swept. Sweeper breakdowns or inclement weather may cause delays or rescheduling.
Residents may sweep anti-skid material into piles in front of their property for pickup by city workers. They can call the city maintenance center from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday through Friday at 437-1600 to give locations of the piles.
