Franklin couple charged with child endangerment, drug possession

A Franklin couple, Terry and Angelina McMunn, face charges of child endangerment after police found drugs within reach of their infant in their apartment on Crestview Drive. Acting on a tip to Child and Youth Services (CYS), police arrived with a CYS advocate and were voluntarily allowed in by Terry McMunn. While the couple claimed they only possessed marijuana, police observed meth residue on a plate and on the carpet near the baby’s area, along with drug paraphernalia under the coffee table. The infant was taken into protective custody, and both parents face felony charges for child endangerment along with drug-related misdemeanors. Their preliminary hearing is set for Nov. 13.
