Franklin Area School District elementary students in Sandycreek Elementary and Victory Elementary recently held their annual “Change for Charity” event. Sandycreek Elementary collected $603.32 and Victory Elementary collected $521.78. All change was donated to “Jamie’s Kids” a non-profit organization that benefits all youth of Venango County. It was formed in honor of Jamie Jacoby’s memory.
Principal George Forster, Jr. is pictured with Ms. Kiser’s 3rd grade and Mark Jacoby from Jamie’s Kids, as well as Ms. Savage’s 2nd grade. Both Kiser’s and Savage’s homerooms donated the most change during the drive.
