Coston Cross, a former Rockland resident and local music scene favorite, is heading to Nashville for the 2024 Josie Music Awards, where he’s nominated in four categories: Male Country Vocalist of the Year, Male Country Song of the Year for “Weekends with You,” Country EP of the Year for “Haunted,” and Male Entertainer of the Year. The Josie Music Awards, a major event for independent artists, will be held at the Grand Ole Opry House. Cross, who has since moved to Texas and gained recognition on the Texas Music Charts, views this as a significant milestone in his career and is excited to connect with other artists.
