Forest student historians travel to New York City

Earlier this month, the Forest Area Student Historians group traveled to New York City to explore history, culture, and society beyond the classroom. Accompanied by two chaperones, the 37 students toured iconic sites including the Statue of Liberty, Ellis Island, the 9/11 Memorial, the Empire State Building, Times Square, and several museums. The trip blended educational experiences with fun stops like Medieval Times, and the students are already looking ahead to their next adventure in Philadelphia, planned for spring 2026.
