From staff reports
The Oil City Ministerium has compiled a calendar listing for local food sources provided by churches in the city.
The schedule was put together by Rev. Byron Myers of Grace United Methodist Church.
Rev. Mark Elliston of Christ Episcopal Church said some restrictions apply as to residency and frequency. Individuals may want to “give the institution a call before showing up,” he said.
The churches have been busy in preparing food for distribution, said Elliston.
“Zion Lutheran … distributed 275 meals at one recent distribution. Calvary United Methodist did 60 packed lunches at one of its recent ones,” he said.
