No one was injured in a blaze that destroyed a Victory Heights home, according to Seneca Volunteer Fire Department Chief Paul Marsh.
Multiple fire departments responded to the scene, at 5934 Route 322, on Tuesday evening and into the early hours of Wednesday morning, according to Venango County 911.
“The family was at home” at the time of the fire and “all escaped the residence prior to (the fire departments’) arrival,” Marsh said.
“Fortunately, there was a hydrant directly across from the house,” which allowed for “a quick attack” on the fire.
The blaze, Marsh said, displaced six family members, and the Red Cross has been notified. The home is “a complete loss.”
According to 911, the emergency call came in at about 10:30 p.m. and the scene was cleared at about 3 a.m.
Fire departments from Seneca, Emlenton, Cornplanter, Pinegrove, and Rockland, as well as Community Ambulance Service, responded to the scene, according to 911.
