The Fertigs Community Center’s annual Labor Day event, Old Home Day, is returning on Monday with a full day of activities starting at 11 a.m. The event will feature flag-raising, guest speakers, kids’ games, a car cruise, live music, a Chinese auction, and a special raffle for a handcrafted wine bar. Vendor stands will be on-site, and there are no admission or parking fees. The event will also honor Jean H. Davis, a founding member of the center who recently turned 100. Proceeds will go towards the center’s maintenance and future projects.
