Farrell man sentenced in drug trafficking case

Quinton Pinkins, a 39-year-old resident of Farrell, has been sentenced to nearly 20 years in federal prison for leading a drug trafficking operation in Mercer County. He was convicted of conspiring to distribute significant amounts of fentanyl, heroin, and cocaine between 2020 and 2021. Despite knowing that his fentanyl dealing had resulted in a customer’s death and another’s hospitalization, Pinkins continued his illegal activities and even expanded them into Erie County. This case, prosecuted by U.S. attorneys Craig Haller and Benjamin Dobkin, was part of an Organized Crime Drug Enforcement Task Force investigation involving multiple federal, state, and local law enforcement agencies. After serving his prison sentence, Pinkins will also be on supervised release for six years.
