The Emlenton PA Summer Festival will be celebrating its 39th year Friday, Saturday and Sunday, July 13, 14 and 15 in Emlenton. The festival will include a town-wide trash and treasure sale, a junior fishing derby, a parade and more.
This is the schedule of events:
July 13 — 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. townwide trash and treasure sale; 10 a.m. to noon junior fishing derby; 11 a.m. fireman’s strawberry social; 6 p.m. wooden bat baseball game at Veterans Field; 7 p.m. musical performance by Chet Vincent at Hughes Park Pavillion.
July 14 — 8 a.m. softball tournament at Veterans Field; noon VFD sausage and more; noon to 4 p.m. model train and car display; noon kids scavenger hunt; 1 p.m. petting zoo and pony rides; 2 p.m. Jungle Terry at Hughes Park; 6 p.m. Summer Festival Parade; musical performance by Jeff Powell & Co.; dusk fireworks by Pyrotecnico.
July 15 — noon to 4 p.m. model train and car display; 1 p.m. barnyard petting zoo; noon to 4 p.m. car/truck/bike cruise an Prospect Park
