This year’s event will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, March 21, at Cranberry Mall.
The township’s first open house at the mall last March got good reviews.
There were 32 businesses signed on to that event and mall capacity was nearly maxed out.
After last year’s successful event, businesses contacted the township and expressed interest in having another open house, said Koah Pentz, the township’s coding enforcement and zoning officer.
Last year’s event was held in part to get feedback for the township’s comprehensive plan.
Township officials may host a table at this year’s event to get feedback on the creation of an economic development organization in Cranberry, as suggested in the comp plan, Pentz said.
Details on the township’s table are still being worked out, he said.
The township is offering free demo tables to businesses on a first-come, first-served basis, Pentz said. Beyond that, businesses may bring their own tables, he added.
Last year’s event featured free food and activities sponsored by area businesses.
This year, the township is hoping for more interactive displays from area businesses, Pentz said.
Any business that would like a table at the event is asked to contact Pentz at (814) 676-8812, Ext. 101.
