Nearly 40 businesses have signed up for Cranberry Township’s Open House at the mall on Tuesday from 5 to 8 p.m.
Businesses are planning food and giveaways.
“I’m hoping we’ll take over the entire mall this year,” said Koah Pentz, Cranberry Township’s coding enforcement and zoning officer.
Cranberry held its first Open House last year at the mall partly as an effort to get feedback on the development of its comprehensive plan.
Thirty-two local businesses attended. This year’s business roster exceeds last year’s and the township expects a good turnout.
At the event, township officials will host a table to garner feedback from visitors about the potential creation of an economic development committee in Cranberry.
