Couple charged in connection with motor home theft

A Seneca couple, Alexandra Benel and Robert Rumburd, were arrested Thursday night after being caught driving a stolen motor home. State police stopped them on Route 257 in Seneca, where Benel, the driver, claimed they had just bought the vehicle from Rumburd’s uncle. However, police confirmed the motor home was reported stolen. Both were jailed after failing to post bail. A third passenger, Brennan Blauser, was also arrested on an active warrant.
