Venango County will sponsor a collection event for both household hazardous waste and electronic items from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 29.
Items may be taken to the Community Recycling Center at 134 Hangar Drive, Franklin.
Anyone who plans to take items to the collection event must pre-register with the collection vendor, Noble Environmental Specialty Recycling, prior to the day of the event.
There is a minimal cost associated with proper disposal of these materials.
