Venango County Coroner Christina Rugh identified the victim of a fatal vehicle-pedestrian accident that occurred Tuesday evening on Pittsburgh Road in Sandycreek Township.
Rugh said Lauren McCauley, 70, of Franklin, died as a result of multiple blunt force injuries.
According to Venango County 911, the accident took place in the 1400 block of Pittsburgh Road at about 10 p.m. Tuesday.
Franklin state police, volunteer fire departments from Sandycreek and Polk, and Community Ambulance Service responded, according to 911. The scene was cleared at about 12:35 a.m. Wednesday.
