UPMC Northwest recently began directing patients who received physician consultation and referral for symptoms consistent with COVID-19 to its outpatient specimen collection site at the Reno Diagnostic Center, 1671 Allegheny Blvd. in Reno.
The hospital is reminding people that the site is open, and that its hours have changed to 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Tuesday through Friday.
Patients must have a physician order for testing. Patients should call (814) 677-7550 to schedule an appointment.
The site is not open to the public, and walk-ins will not be tested.
