Concerns over costs and completion times surround ongoing Clarion County Courthouse project

At a Clarion County commissioners’ meeting, concerns were raised about the courthouse renovation project’s timeline and budget, with officials acknowledging potential delays and a six-figure budget overrun. The county is funding most of the project, with grants covering some costs, and work continues despite challenges. Meanwhile, the election cycle has begun, with increased mail-in ballot requests and multiple local offices up for election. Additionally, Foxburg received a $125,000 grant for a trail project and park development, and the county is supporting further grant requests for trail maintenance efforts to boost tourism and recreation.
