The annual Community Christmas Buildshop will be held from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 15, at Clarion University’s Venango Campus in Oil City.
This free event is open to the public, and children may start building anytime they arrive between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m.
Organizers say the event is an opportunity for children ages 3 to 12 to come and build gifts to give to their families for Christmas or to simply enjoy themselves.
There will be a jewelry station, a wooden toys station, a Christmas card station, Christmas mugs, homemade tree ornaments and many more items to make.
Snacks and drinks will be provided.
Several local churches and area businesses help sponsor and fund the event.
