Collaborative art piece created at Rocky Grove

A mural project organized by Rocky Grove High School art teacher Kylie Allen is seen in the school’s office staircase.
Rocky Grove High School art teacher Kylie Allen organized a collaborative mural project, now displayed in the school’s office staircase. Featuring 72 pieces created by both alumni and current students—from the Class of 1964 to the Class of 2034—the mural aims to strengthen the school community through art. Designed as a tree motif with the quote “No act of kindness, no matter how small, is ever wasted,” the project encouraged alumni participation via a Facebook invitation. Allen and her teaching assistant assembled the final piece, completing the installation after years of planning. Students take pride in their contributions.
