Coffee Chats on Tour

Summer is flying by and there has been a lot going on behind the scenes that we are hoping to be able to share soon! Hint: think large-scale 3D printers, agrivoltaics, and new business opportunities. During the month of June, we took a break from Foxburg Fridays at Divani. But now, Community Coffee Chats are back and this time we’re switching things up!

We’re taking our weekly Coffee Chats on tour for the summer! Starting in July, we have been rotating among local coffee shops around the area. Our next coffee chat is Wednesday, July 31 from Noon–2pm at Woods & River Coffee in Oil City.

You might be thinking, What is a Community Coffee Chat? These Coffee Chats are a chance for us to get to know YOU—your stories, your ideas, your dreams for the future of the region—and for you to find out what is going on in our communities or ask questions about projects that are in the works. It’s low-pressure and informal, quite literally just chatting over coffee (or tea!). It’s open house style, so stop in anytime between 12–2pm and sit down with me or other members of the team.

Our new day and time is Wednesdays from Noon–2pm.

Upcoming Dates:

July 31 – Woods and River Coffee, Oil City

August 7 – Emlenton Coffee Haus

August 14 – Iron Furnace Coffee, Franklin

August 21 – No Coffee Chat

August 28 – Woods and River Coffee, Oil City

If there is somewhere you think we should make part of the rotation, reach out! We’d love to meet you wherever you are! Do you think we should we continue this through the fall? Let us know what you think! You can reach out via email: rachel@riverrootsredevelopment.org. Keep an eye on our website: riverrootsredevelopment.org and Facebook page @RiverRootsRedevelopment for more updates and for our summer schedule for Coffee Chats, where you can find out more about local projects and share your own ideas with some of those involved in local redevelopment.
