Cassandra Smith, a 29-year-old Clarion woman, faces multiple drug charges following an incident early Sunday in Richland Township, Venango County. Police found Smith passed out in her car with suspected heroin or fentanyl and drug paraphernalia. She was arrested and charged with felony drug possession with intent to deliver, misdemeanor possession of a controlled substance, and related traffic violations. Smith was jailed after failing to post bail, with a preliminary hearing set for July 31.
