Clarion, Warren awarded funds from Neighborhood Assistance Program

The Pennsylvania Neighborhood Assistance Program (NAP) has awarded over $683,000 in tax credits to Clarion County Adventures for their park improvement project, which includes building an icehouse and enhancing accessibility at the Clarion County Multi-Generational Community Park. This project aims to improve community health and engagement by addressing the lack of recreational spaces, especially for vulnerable populations. In addition, the Warren Forest Counties Economic Opportunity Council received $45,000 to provide handicapped-accessible housing units for low-income households in Warren County. These projects are among 26 initiatives in the northwest region of Pennsylvania benefiting from the NAP’s first round of funding.
