Clarion Summer Fest organizers keep bright spirits despite rain

The final installment of the 2024 Clarion Summer Fest began with sunny weather on Friday but ended with heavy rain on Saturday afternoon. Despite the weather, the event, themed “Art and Music in Clarion,” was deemed a success due to strong community support. Co-organizer Jacqueline Griebel praised the collective efforts of sponsors, volunteers, and businesses. This year’s events saw good turnouts and featured new activities that might be repeated or changed in the future as the festival continues to evolve. Jake Jacobson highlighted the collaborative opportunities for artists, while vendor Espo Wilcox noted a successful day despite the rain. Plans are already underway for the 2025 Summer Fest, with organizers seeking community input and volunteers.
