Clarion Hospital raised the Center for Organ Recovery and Education (CORE) flag to mark April as National Donate Life Month, highlighting the importance of organ, tissue, and cornea donation. This year’s theme, “Let Life Sing,” celebrates the hope and renewal that donation brings, inspired by the songs of spring and symbolic birds like cardinals and hummingbirds. CORE’s efforts in 2024 enabled 472 organ donors to provide 970 life-saving transplants, while nearly 1,700 tissue and cornea donors helped heal or restore life for over 125,000 people. The flag raising honored the generosity of donors, the strength of their families, and the commitment of the Clarion Hospital team in supporting the gift of life.
