Clarion County Veteran’s Picnic draws crowd despite weather

The Clarion County Veteran’s Picnic drew a strong crowd despite the cloudy weather, with around 125 veterans and 75 guests attending. The event featured food provided by the Clarion VFW, music by DJ Banno, and support from local volunteers, including the Civil Air Patrol. A highlight of the picnic was the introduction of the “Wills for Heroes” program by Clarion County Register and Recorder Rebekah Weckerly, which will offer free, legally binding wills to veterans and first responders, with the first event planned for October 26.
