Clarion community pillars are keynote speakers at MLK breakfast

PennWest Clarion will host its annual Martin Luther King Jr. Community Breakfast on January 20 at Eagle Commons, celebrating 30 years of the Day of Service. Keynote speakers include Dr. Brenda Sanders Dédé, a retired academic leader and community advocate, and Pastor Jake Jacobson, a longtime spiritual leader and volunteer. The event, featuring a student address, musical performance, and a $9 breakfast, supports the Clarion Community Food Bank. Following the breakfast, a volunteer fair at the Clarion Free Library will connect attendees with local service opportunities, honoring Dr. King’s legacy of community engagement.
