Christ Episcopal pajama collection underway

Christ Episcopal Church in Oil City has launched its 13th annual program to provide warm pajamas and age-appropriate books to children in need. Led by retired teacher Sarah Margherio, the project collects new sleepwear in sizes from infant to adult, with a high demand for elementary to high school sizes. Donations from the community—including church members, friends, and local teachers—help support the initiative. Margherio wraps each set of pajamas with a book and distributes them to local schools and services before Christmas. Donations can be dropped off at the church or at 552 Bouquin Circle.
