Children’s Day will be held from noon to 5 p.m. Sunday, April 8, at the Cranberry Mall. This year’s theme is “Kids Sizing Up Science.”
Venango College and Franklin High School will have fun science experiments set up along with more than 50 tables featuring activities and exhibits geared towards children.
The Performing Arts Academy will perform at 1 p.m. and HOLeY Jeans will perform at 2 p.m.
The event is sponsored by Venango Kid Connection and the Seneca Reading Council.
Some of the fun activities include: balloon art, bowling, Pet Rocks, Imagination Library, bicycle safety, free bicycle helmets, brain safety, and much more.
Some groups attending include: Venango County 4-H Program, Youth Alternatives, Safe Kids Venango, Oil City YMCA, Community Ambulance, Cranberry, Oil City, Franklin, Valley Grove school districts, and many more.
This family event is free and open to the public.
