PennDOT and its safety partners will host a free children’s bicycle rodeo on Saturday, August 3, at Titusville City Hall. Registration begins at 9:30 a.m., with activities from 10 a.m. to noon. The event aims to promote bicycling, educate kids on safety, and develop safe biking habits. Children aged 5 to 12 can participate, and must bring a bicycle, helmet, and a parent or guardian to sign a permission slip. Activities will teach safety skills, and Titusville police will inspect helmets and bikes. The rodeo coincides with the launch of Titusville’s bicycle registration program to help identify and return lost or stolen bikes. A drawing for two free bicycles and a limited number of free helmets will be offered, along with a free hot dog lunch.
