The Crawford Area Transportation Authority (CATA) is now the shared ride transportation provider for Clarion County. Starting Monday, CATA will manage paratransit services, including shared ride and medical assistance transportation programs funded by PennDOT and the Department of Human Services. Services are available for seniors (65+), individuals with disabilities, and those needing non-emergency medical transportation. CATA will also offer wheelchair-accessible vehicles, supportive services transportation, special transports to nearby cities, and limited public transportation. Operations will continue from the current location in Shippenville, with the same scheduling phone number, (814) 226-7012.
