The Crawford Area Transportation Authority (CATA) has announced updates to the fixed route bus fare and bus pass structure in Venango County, effective Monday. Key changes include: adult fare (ages 13-64) at $2, ADA on fixed route at $1, free rides for seniors (65+) with a PA Transit Card, and free rides for children 12 and under when accompanied by an adult. Transfers will be free, and ADA Paratransit on shared rides will cost $4. Six-ride passes for $10 can be purchased on the bus or at CATA’s office in Oil City, while 20-ride passes for $20 are available only at the office. Both passes can be bought via the Token Transit app or online. Old punch tickets will be accepted until December 31, 2024. For more details, call (814) 336-5600.
