Bridge Lit Fest to enjoy new space for its second year

The Bridge Lit Fest, previously known as the Wildcat Lit Fest, will take place on August 10 at the newly acquired Venango Campus, thanks to the Oil Region Alliance (ORA). This year’s festival will include expanded activities and staff, with writing workshops led by published professionals for writers aged 18 and older. New workshop genres like multi-genre and science fiction and fantasy worldbuilding will be introduced, alongside returning genres such as fiction, poetry, and nonfiction. The event will also feature book vendors, a book sale, meals, a plein air hike or bike ride, and an open mic session. Organizers hope to expand the festival into a two-day event in the future. Registration costs $65, with a reduced fee of $30 for college and trade school students.
