Bridge Builders Community Foundations has partnered with 40 other Pennsylvania community foundations to launch the PA Giving Pledge, encouraging residents to leave at least 5% of their estates to support future generations. Led by the Pennsylvania Community Foundation Association (PACFA), the initiative seeks to create sustainable funding for nonprofits addressing local issues. With an estimated $418 billion wealth transfer projected in Pennsylvania by 2030, securing 5% could generate $21 billion for community causes. An interactive website, PAGivingPledge.org, provides resources for donors and advisors. PACFA members are engaging business leaders and philanthropists to expand support.
