Bike ‘N Brew Fest attracts nice crowd on great day

The annual Bike ‘N Brew Fest, held on Saturday as part of Oil City’s Oil Heritage Festival, boasted great weather and featured both biking and beer tasting activities. Coordinated by the Venango Area Chamber of Commerce, the event raises funds for the Future Leaders and Entrepreneurs Exchange (FLEX). Participants received a map of eight local points of interest to visit by bike, while others could collect a cooler bag with 17 craft beers or opt for VIP on-site tasting. Attendees were encouraged to share photos using the hashtag #ohbikenbrew2024. The event saw positive turnout and support from local breweries and sponsors, with notable participants like Jim and Rachel Abbott, owners of 4 Season Cycle bike shop, who attended for the third year. Kat Thompson from the chamber expressed gratitude for the community’s continued support.
